Recently, the country’s first F-class 50 MW heavy-duty gas turbine—developed independently by Dongfang Electric and supported by Chenglin Technology—has reached full load operation, with all operational indicators functioning normally. This milestone signifies that China has now fully mastered the entire process of independent design, manufacturing, and testing of gas turbines, filling a domestic gap in heavy-duty gas turbine technology and propelling China’s indigenous gas turbine industry toward leapfrog development.
