The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has issued the "Notice on Carrying Out Permit Management for Industrial Noise Discharge."

Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the "Notice on Carrying Out the Management of Industrial Noise Discharge Permits." In order to implement the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution" and the "Regulations on the Administration of Discharge Permits," and to enforce industrial noise discharge permit management in accordance with the law, enterprises, institutions, and other operators that discharge industrial noise (hereinafter referred to as "discharging units") will be gradually brought under the scope of discharge permit management. Discharging units will be encouraged to apply for discharge permits or submit discharge registration forms. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, all industrial noise emissions will be legally incorporated into the discharge permit management system.
